These four students recently won awards from the Tennessee Association of Christian Schools for academic achievement. TACS hosts an academic competition each year for their member schools. The first round of tests are at the district level. UCA competes in the middle Tennessee division. Winners at the district level move on to compete against their peers in all TACS schools in the state. These four UCA students placed at the state level in various subjects. Isaiah Chastain (5th grade) won first place in Grammar, Science, Social Studies, Creative Writing, Old Testament, and New Testament. He won second place in Math. Elizabeth Swaw (8th grade) won first place in History/Geography and second place in English. Alexander Thornton (8th grade) won first place in Science. Zach Roach (11th grade) won 2nd place in US History/Geography.
